Kris is the main writer, singer, and guitarist in touring indie pop rock band SOKOJO. Kris fell in love with music after a friendship with Metallica's Jason Newstead turned into a lifelong passion for creating music. Kris comes from a family in the music business, growing up in association with Metallica, Def Leppard, Tesla, Jack Johnson, etc. Kris has been playing guitar for 17 years, specializing in jamming, rock, pop, blues, country, and jazz. As the lead singer, Kris has 5 octaves and sings bass, baritone, tenor, and countertenor.
