Peter Kang is a Korean-American Actor based in Los Angeles. Originally from Orlando, Florida, Peter is the youngest of three siblings, and grew up as a pastor’s kid.
He first grew interested in acting after seeing an audition flyer for To Kill a Mocking Bird at his high school and auditioned for the role of Bob Ewell. Even though he didn’t get the part he participated in productions such as M.A.S.H. and It’s a Wonderful Life.
His first notable role was in a Burmese short called A Chit Tu, where he plays a young father and husband who has an affair with a co-worker. He has also done various projects which include DIVIS, a VR sexual harassment educational series for the U.S. Army, Squid Game 2, a popular parody trailer, where he plays a player who meets a violent death just to name a few.
In his spare time he loves doing crossfit at his box, and is an L-1 certified crossfit trainer. He also speaks conversational Korean and some Japanese. I’ve taken classes with Nikolai Guzov, UCB improv, Scott Sedita Sitcom Comedy, Iris Klein, John Rosenfeld Studios, Peter Kang has also been plant-based for more than 2 years.
"I am deeply committed to promoting authenticity and diversity in the entertainment industry by bringing Asian American stories to the forefront. Recent successes like Everything, Everywhere, All at Once and Crazy Rich Asians have shown the power of inclusive storytelling, and I am more motivated than ever to share my unique perspective and experiences through my roles and projects.”
